Korean Wind Orchestra

The Korean Wind Orchestra was founded for the purpose of developing Korean wind music, while forming emotional rapport with the public based on classical music and satisfying their cultural needs with sincere musical spirit and genuine enthusiasm. While delivering a message of strength with the magnificent and splendid sound of wind instruments, it will present people with such performances that can cultivate their emotions and that can give, especially to teenagers, dreams and hopes. With programs that put the audience first, it aims to build a social foundation for classical performances by improving understanding of classical music and creating new value. It also aims to contribute to raising the status of Korea by promoting international exchanges and taking on new challenges in an enterprising manner. It will continue to maintain its unique musical identity and to fill the audience with a new type of emotion, thereby establishing itself as a preeminent orchestra of Korea that satisfies both artistry and popularity based on active and dynamic sound.
