In the children's programme MAUSsorgsky, a family of mice finds their new home in an abandoned attic. There the mice discover many old, colourful pictures that tell them the most exciting stories - from a creepy gnome to an old castle to lively, dancing chicks.
MAUSsorgsky is a delightful musical play written by the great director Markus Kupferblum.
Based on Modest Mussorgsky's composition "Pictures at an Exhibition", AUREUM, which is acting here itself, creates an exciting interpretation for the young and the young at heart!

"I saw a gnome!"
"A gnome?! Can that be?"
"Gnomes don't even exist!"
"But I have seen one! Without a doubt, I
I saw one!"
"But it was just a picture!"
"Yes, it was just that picture over there! There's a
There's a gnome painted on it!"
"Yes, but it was as if the picture here was singing. As if
music was coming out of the picture. Can that
be? Can pictures become music?
